Program Description

The McCall College Computer Programming in Python Program is a one-year program designed to prepare a student for initial employment in the computer industry.  Python is one of the initial computer languages expected by a future employer and is currently the most preferred language used in the industry.   Expected outcome of the program is that students will have a sufficient background to prepare themselves for successful entry into employment requiring entry level Python.

Mission

The mission of McCall College Computer Programming in Python Program is to provide computer programming education to students and IT professionals. The Program is designed and developed to prepare students for an initial employment opportunity in the computer industry.  The program aims to attract and develop workforce talent to our diverse community in rural Idaho.

Credential

McCall College Certificate of Completion in Introduction to Python and Student Portfolio of Python.

• Introduction to Computer Programming.

• Computer Programming: Python 1, 2 & 3 (non-certified).

Certification Notice

McCall College DOES NOT offer certification in Python.  McCall College is currently upgrading its Pearson Vue Testing Center.  When completed, students will be notified of additional certification opportunities.
